Favorite Things Friday No. 03

Hello and happy Friday! I’m back with a new Favorite Things Friday where I simply share my favorite things of the week with you. Whether it’s a feeling, a thing, or an experience – my favorite “things” are not limited to just that – things! My goal is to create small moments of joy as well as possibly put you onto something new you’ll also enjoy.

With that, here is my first list of my five Favorite Things Friday.

1. The Canon EOS 6D Mark II

The time finally came to where I had replace my camera. I had a pretty basic but mighty Canon that was my baby since 2018 but she finally broke. It was a long time coming but purchasing new camera and at this price point is daunting. I did a bunch of research and asked for opinions and everything lead me to the Canon EOS 6D Mark II. I didn’t realize my gear was capping my potential! I’ve already shot a wedding and a couple families with this new camera and I feel much more capable at capturing those fleeting moments that speed by on a wedding day or those quick toddlers.

If you are looking to upgrade your gear, this camera is top notch!

2. The Holiday Season

Do I even need to elaborate? I love Christmas and everything that comes with it. The worst part is that it flys by! and maybe the cold…

3. The tree hut birthday cake body scrub

A body scrub is something I never really find necessary to purchase and it’s super easy to make a homemade one with kitchen ingredients BUT I randomly bought this one a while ago because I love cake scents and it was limited edition and I LITERALLY just purchased two more. It smells sooooo good and feels great too. It lasted longer than I thought it would too but honestly, just the scent alone is worth splurging on a little bath product. It’ll elevate your “everything” shower and add a little luxury to your routine.

4. This creamy white chicken chili recipe

I made this a couple of weeks ago and have been craving to make it again ever since! It’s super easy to make, and absolutely delicious. Honestly, the hardest part is putting all the toppings on! I used a can of butter beans along with white beans for variety and the butter beans addition was a game change… so good! Go to the grocery store now!

5. Vanderpump rules

I know, I know…I’m late to the game! I just started Vanderpump Rules last week and I’m hooked. I watch it during the work day, while on the treadmill, and any moment I can! It’s so good. I didn’t realize how old it is so it’s fun to watch the old seasons as a little time capsule to the early 2010s fashions and lifestyle. I know all the “scandoval” drama so it’s sad watching and knowing what happens later on. If you are into reality TV and haven’t watched this show, just start now.
