It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I’m sitting here thinking how is it December already? I swear it was just January 1st! But as we count down the days to Christmas, we still have a lot of prepping to do. We need to deck the halls, build gingerbread houses, trim the tree, tour lighted neighborhoods, drink plenty of hot chocolate, and tap dance with Danny Kaye!
But In between all the holiday festivities, finding the perfect gift for our friends and family is looming overhead. I LOVE gift shopping but not everyone does. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what to get someone so I took the time to find some fun gifts to give the creative person in your life.
This year, I’ve organized gifts from affordable smaller gifts up to more expensive gifts.
Affordable Gifts or Stocking Stuffers - $3-$20
Compact and adorable electronic and cord organizer for on-the-go and traveling photographers, videographers, and techies
Cute Composition Notebook
Having a cute, nice, new notebook feels like the beginning of a fresh new day! If you are shopping for a creative, chances are they love collecting notebooks. This one would be perfect for journaling (especially travel journaling!) or note-taking from client meetings.
Laneige Lip Balm
If they love the lip mask (or you think they would), they would love this more travel-friendly lip balm from the same brand.
These touchscreen-friendly gloves would come in handy for cold-weather outdoor photoshoot days.
Etsy has tons of individual artists selling prints. If you know they style of your gift-recipents home well maybe a fun print is a great gift. You can purchase the print and print to your desired size at your local Walmart, Walgreens, or online at Shutterfly or Vistaprint. The cost of prints is typically low because you do need to print yourself but this allows for you to choose the size and frame it in a cool frame!
I am LOVING this specific print found here! Shop
Moderately-Priced Gifts - $30-$60
Yanmis Soft and Durable Brown Adjustable Leather Camera Strap
This beautiful harness will complement any photographer’s wedding day outfit
Cute 3 Piece PJ Set
Your work-from-home friends live in lounge sets and this one has a cute matching robe and comes in adorable colors!
Thread Wallets Cross Body Bag
This crossbody bag comes in many color/pattern options for every style and can be dressed up or dressed sporty. It can adjust as a crossbody purse or change the strap positions for a one-strap backpack. This small but mighty bag has 3 interiors and 2 exterior compartments to keep small things organized – perfect for a shoot day! Use the zipper area to keep memory cards safe!
Rainbow Crystal Wine Glasses
How gorgeous are these crystal rainbow-colored wine glasses (or choose the flute or martini option!) If your creative friend loves color and wine I’m sure these would look adorable on their bar cart!
Cozy Lounge Set
Here is another adorable, cozy lounge set that you could even wear out of the house. This one is wide-leg pants paired with an over-sized sweater. This comes in cute colors as well but this cream color option is stunning!
Expensive Gifts - $100+
Samsung 2T Portable Hard Drive
This is the third most important thing a photographer owns behind their camera and their computer. This portable hard drive does not have any moving parts as compared to other brands which makes it less vulnerable to corrupting when moved around and traveling. This is a holy grail!
Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones
How cute are these noise-canceling headphones? These are great for videographers, music lovers, and avid travelers. I can’t go on a plane without mine! This white smoke color is so aesthetically pleasing!
BREVITE - The Jumper - Compact Camera Backpack
This sleek, aesthetically pleasing, travel-friendly backpack was literally made for photographers. I’ve had one for over two years, traveled thousands of miles with it and it still looks brand new. The interior has rearrangeable compartments to customize to your gear.
Perfect for wedding day photographers when they can’t always have their phone on them but need to keep track of time and be in contact with people.
LG Ultrafine 27" 4K Monitor
It’s no Apple retina display monitor but this is a far more affordable option that would look sleek and beautiful on any desk set up
